Viticulture practice:

Trellised. Controlled irrigation. Green dropping at 60%
variation to ensure even ripeness. Yield control by
using the minimum fertiliser.
Winter pruning.

Late March 2004
Vinification Details:

Only healthy optimum ripened grapes, hand harvested,
de stemmed only without crushing the berries right into
tanks by gravity to ensure no damage to pips and skins
ensuring soft tannins. Fermented at 25ºC to 27ºC and
pumped over every 4 hours. Minimal chemicals are used
in the winemaking process.

Winemakers Comments:

Rich dark ruby red colour with a ripe raspberry and with
sweet lifted lavender bouquet . Elegant ,very fruit driven
palate , with nice , rich lingering flavours of fruit and
oak , finishing with a ripe balanced tannin structure.
